This Easter, Mean Deans Local Kitchen in Bradenton invites you to indulge in a delightful brunch and holiday feast. From 11 AM to 2 PM, savor the select brunch menu featuring mouthwatering dishes like Frittata Florentine, Arctic Timber Salmon Everything Bagel, and Chicken and Waffles. Throughout the day from 11 AM to 8 PM, the holiday menu offers an array of tempting appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, and desserts.
Guests can relish in entrees such as Apricot Honey Glazed Ham, Whiskey Peach BBQ Rib Tips, Slow Cooked Australian Lamb Shank, Crab Stuffed Salmon, or Citrus Basil Glazed Airline Chicken. Save room for dessert and indulge in homemade Carrot Cake or Lavender Crème Brulé.
Mean Deans also extends a warm invitation to those spending the holidays alone. Co-owner Michele Angell shares, “It all started with an email from a woman named Pat who just lost her husband and was ordering takeout on Thanksgiving because she didn’t want to eat alone. I thought of the loss of our stepfather and what my mom went through. It occurred to me that so many people were going through similar things and one small thing we could do to help was to create a space for them to connect. I called my mom to tell her about the email I received and asked her if she would be willing to sit with Pat and other strangers on a holiday and she loved the idea. I reached out to Pat to tell her about our loss and that my mom would love to have Thanksgiving dinner with her, and we could invite other people who may also be alone for whatever reason.”
Inspired by heartfelt stories like Pat’s, Mean Deans hosts communal-style dinners themed to each holiday. For Easter, simply call and request to be added to the “Cotton Tail Party.”
Michele adds, “We believe in the power of community and friendship, especially during special occasions. Our holiday dinners are an opportunity for guests to make meaningful connections and create lasting memories.”
