Happy Hour has also been extended, beginning at 2:30 to 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Lunch prices range from $7-$16 and Happy Hour includes 10 plates from $5-$8 each as well as beer, wine and cocktail specials. Dinner service continues, Monday-Saturday, starting at 5 p.m., with 20 plates under $20, ideally suited for sharing in the classic European way.

Lunch menu highlights and signature dishes include a daily Soup du Jour, Ratatouille Bruschetta, Spiced Lamb Hummus Flatbread, Shrimp & Polenta and Red Curry Mussels. Three salads, Gem Lettuce (green apple, roasted butternut squash, candied pecans), Farmhouse (a twist on Greek Salad) and Quinoa Tabbouleh Bowl (shaved vegetable, spicy yoghurt, pistachio dukkha) can also be upgraded with chicken, shrimp or fish of the day.

Curry Mussels are one of the featured signature items on Blasé Bistro’s new lunch menu.Sandwiches range from Falafel on housemade Laffa bread, Crispy Chicken Sandwich on Ciabatta with fresh mozzarella, arugula, prosciutto and pesto aioli, and Blasé Angus Cheeseburger or Bacon & Blue, including caramelized onions, bacon spread and butter lettuce. Both burgers come with classic avocado, bacon and egg add-ons and choice of pommes frites or shaved side salad. And for the classic Euro-plate, there is also Steak Frites with choice of Bearnaise or au poivre with peppercorn sauce.

Adding to the European ambiance and visual appeal of Blasé Bistro is the marble curved original bar from the Don Cesar in St. Petersburg, Fla. The bar was moved from Blasé Café on Siesta Key, the first of the Blasé Sarasota restaurants, to further enhance the visual allure of the Bistro.

About Blasé Bistro & Martini Bar
Owned and operated by partners Cynthia Breslin and Kevin Skiest, Blasé Bistro & Martini Bar offers a unique French Mediterranean dining experience with regional influences. Blasé Bistro is the second restaurant to open under the Blasé name, the first being the 22+ year Blasé Café & Martini Bar on Siesta Key, opened by Breslin in 1997, which grew from one table in one space to what is now a 100-seat restaurant with three bars and the adjacent pizza and craft beer restaurant, Pi 3.14, which opened in 2016. Partner Kevin Skiest, a real estate and business investor, joined the Blasé family in 2016 to help re-organize and re-energize the business.
