Pints for Paws SRQ– Halloween Party For People And Dogs

This third annual event will benefit Satchel’s Last Resort, and Vintage Paws Sanctuary, two 501 3-C organizations serving local pets will be held on October 23rd at Cock And Bull Pub from 3-6 pm.

Human attendees will be treated to live music, craft beers and munchies.   Four-legged attendees are encouraged to participate in the costume contest and the popular “pie-eating” contest for dogs.  Max Winitz will emcee the event.

“What’s unique about Pints for Paws, is that it provides an opportunity for local dog lovers to come together, with their dogs, in a casual party atmosphere and support local shelters.” Iris Eastman of Satchel’s Last Resort explains.   “Our staff and volunteers have a chance to meet the community and have one-on-one conversations about our mission to rescue, rehab and rehome”

The Cock and Bull is an outdoor beer garden with picnic tables and a come-as-you-are atmosphere that is well suited to tail-wagging clientele and their owners.

The event is organized by SarasotaDog.com, an online resource for local dog lovers with information on services, adoptable dogs as well as happenings around town.  Sarasota Animal Advocates is a Facebook group dedicated to greater awareness of animals as sentient beings.
