Naples Hooters Continues Tradition of Supporting Children’s Advocacy Center
Representatives from Hooters of Naples, including several Hooters Calendar Girls and alumni, presented a donation of $11,000, along with books and stuffed animals, to the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collier County (CAC). This annual holiday tradition has, over the past eight years, resulted in Naples Hooters donating over $85,500 to the CAC. The event was sponsored by Kitchens by Clay, owned by Clay Cox, a regular customer at the restaurant, with additional generous contributions from patrons like John Walsh.
The donation was presented on December 20 during the start of the Hooters Calendar Tour in Southwest Florida. The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collier County is dedicated to improving the lives of abused children by providing a safe space for evaluation and treatment, aiming to stop abuse and help children heal to reach their full potential.
Naples Hooters General Manager Steve Caruso expressed gratitude for the community’s support, stating, “Each holiday season, we receive such a generous response from our regular customers with donations to help local children. We appreciate everyone’s continued support to help for this program.”
Jacqueline Griffith Stephens, CEO of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collier County, highlighted the impact of these donations: “The stuffed animals and books help provide a sense of safety and comfort. Additionally, the financial donation from Hooters helps us provide the necessary services to stop the abuse and help children heal and live to their full potential.”
