Manatee Children’s Services Holiday Project

Dear Friends,                          

As you may already know, Manatee Children’s Services is a non-profit, charitable organization that has been providing child abuse prevention and intervention programs for over three decades in our community for our most vulnerable population, child victims of abuse.  Each year during the holiday season we look to members of our community to fulfill the gift wishes of the children that we serve as part of our “Holiday Project”.   The children participating in this project reside in our Emergency Shelter, one of our three Group Homes, or have a caregiver involved in one of Manatee Children’s Services’ support programs.  All of the children provided for are victims of, or at risk of experiencing, abuse or neglect.

If you or your company chooses to become a holiday sponsor, we will provide you with a child’s “wish list” that will note the child’s first name, age, sex, and gift wishes.  The wish list is intended to provide suggestions to help with your gift selections, but you have the freedom to determine what to buy and how much to spend.  If you prefer, you can make a financial donation and Manatee Children’s Services’ staff will do the shopping.
