Looking for Great Sarasota-Bradenton Charities!

Looking for Great Sarasota-Bradenton Charities!

| Molly Slicker |

We are looking for a few good men and women! Popular fundraising event “Giving Back” is on the search for their next local charity to partner with.

Every year, the “Giving Back” event is not only one of the area’s most fun events, but the impact is huge. The extravaganza, hosted at Cortez’s Swordfish Grill and Tiki, offers an incredible night of the area’s best live music, delicious food, and tens of thousands of dollars donated to a deserving non-profit in the area. This year’s event was a smashing success- raising over $20,000 for The Blessings Bag Project.

The planning for Giving Back 2018 has already begun to ensure it is going to be even bigger and better.

Sponsors Swordfish Grill and Tiki, Sande Caplin & Associates, The Sarasota Post, with music sponors A Paradise Realty, are looking for next year’s recipient of the fundraising efforts. This sponsorship team is committed to giving back to the community in a tangible and impactful way, so they are looking for a non-profit to match their commitment.

Giving Back will be held in September 2018, but the work starts now.

We are looking for a Sarasota-Bradenton based charity to partner with. Proposals to be the fundraising partner must be sent in PDF form no later than December 1st, 2017.

To be considered as the featured charity, you must be a 501-(3)(C) Sarasota-Bradenton based charity that can provide at least 7 volunteers and can assist in selling 100 tickets at $75 each (All ticket money goes directly back to your organization). Please provide information and a proposal to info@sarasotapost.com by 12/01/17 so our team can begin the vetting process.

We look forward to hearing from you, partnering with an amazing local charity, and continuing to bring our community together to make a difference. photo from deposit photos
