Bradenton— The Hernando de Soto Historical Society is in the process of collecting items for the victims in Hurricane Michael’s catastrophic path of destruction.

Items needed: 

ANY NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS
WATER
BATTERIES (single or multipack AAA, AA C, D, 6 volt or 9 volt)
FIRST AID KITS
FUEL CONTAINERS
AXES
NON ELECTRIC CAN OPENERS
REUSABLE AND ARTIFICIAL ICE PRODUCTS
TARPS AND OTHER PLASTIC SHEETING
BLANKETS
PET SUPPLIES
NEW BABY AND KIDS TOYS
ADULT AND KIDS CLOTHING

Monetary donations will be accepted by Hernando DeSoto Historical Society who will be contacting local relief agencies in Florida to direct the funds.

Drop off Location: De Soto Float Barn, 605 17th Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34205, will serve as the collection center. All items will be delivered to our friends in need in Tallahassee, Panama City, Ft. Walton, Pensacola and other areas.

Friday, October 19, 2018 2:00 PM thru 8:00 PM
Saturday, October 20, 2018 8:00 AM thru 1:00 PM
