Entre Nous 2nd Annual Festival of Trees Auction November 24, 2021 through December 4, 2021
In 2020, Entre Nous Club of Manatee like most non-profit organizations has had to be creative and think outside of the box to continue to support the community. Known for our annual Tour of Homes, the Club typically raises around $40,000 each year. With that money, we have always given back 100% of our net profits back to the community through academic scholarships, grant money for non-profit organizations, and financial assistance for those in emergency need.
Due to Covid-19, in 2020, our annual Tour of Homes had to be put on hold, and we chose to pursue raising funds by holding a holiday-themed online auction, “Festival of Trees”. Our efforts to shift to an online auction enabled us to raise $27,000, thus allowing us to assist the community as we have always done since 1931.
Fast forward to 2021, and we found ourselves having to make the hard decision again as the Covid-19 numbers started to spike. As badly as we wanted the tour, we decided it was in the best interest of the community to put the Tour on hold another year. Because we had success in 2020, we will be having another Festival of Trees Auction. This year the auction will be held November 24 – December 4, 2021.
Entre Nous is appreciative of the local businesses and individuals that support our fundraising efforts. Please check out and register for the auction to help us support the community. You will find unique trees and other Christmas décor again, and an array of gifts you can put under the tree for your family, friends, and co-workers.
Although we aren’t going to have the tour this year, know that our desire is to be back in 2022. For 42 years we have presented decorated private residences the first weekend of December, spotlighting their unique styles and designs, and I promise you that the 43rd year Holiday Tour of Homes will be bigger and better than ever!
