Dine & Donate: Satisfy Your Cravings and Make a Difference for Suncoast Charities for Children!

| Suncoast Post Staff |

Once again, the esteemed Columbia Restaurant Group steps forward to back Suncoast Charities for Children and various other cherished local non-profits through their 26th Annual Community Harvest event, set for the entirety of September.

Originating from Tampa, this restaurant collective has pledged to contribute 5% from every diner’s bill to community-based charitable organizations close to their diverse restaurant spots. For those in Sarasota, when dining in or opting for takeaway at Columbia Restaurant or Cha Cha Coconuts, patrons will receive a ballot along with their bill, enabling them to nominate a preferred charity or suggest one close to their heart. Both dining establishments stand proudly at the picturesque St. Armands Circle.

Once the program ends, the Columbia Restaurant then provides each charity with gift certificates that can be used for up to 12 months.   Over the past 25 years, the Columbia Restaurant Community Harvest has donated $3 Million to non-profit organizations throughout Florida.
