Clancy’s of Bradenton Raises Money with the 10th Annual Shamrock Shiver Charity Plunge

Bradenton Beach was the setting for the 10th annual Clancy’s Shamrock Shiver Charity Plunge which raises money for disadvantaged kids in Sarasota and Manatee counties. While the weather was rather cool, approximately 100 folks- babies to older adults took the plunge in the semi-warm Gulf of Mexico!

100% of the money that is raised from the event goes to various children’s groups in Manatee and Sarasota counties. Over $20,000 was raised on New Year’s Day that goes to help programs that feed kids in school, assistance to the homeless, foster care programs and more. Over the years, over $216,000 has been raised!

Congratulations to the entire team at Clancy’s and to all the participants! What a wonderful event. We look forward to next year’s event and hope that more and more folks will take the plunge and raise more money!
