Thirty seven years have passed since Manatee Children’s Services mission to prevent child abuse was initiated. Since 1977, our donor’s generous support has helped improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of at-risk children & their family members. Your donation can help ensure this most vulnerable population, child victims of abuse, receive the quality services they deserve. As a non-profit we count on donors like you to help Manatee Children’s Services charity in providing a full spectrum of care through a variety of program’s including emergency shelter & group homes for boys & girls in foster care.
As we approach the 2014 24 Hour Giving Challenge on May 6 & 7th, we hope you will consider a donation of at least $25 or more. Every dollar donated at NOON on May 6th, will be matched until those matching funds are exhausted. During last year’s GPC, those matched funds were exhausted in the first 10 minutes! The Giving Partner is a collaborative effort of the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, Gulf Coast Community Foundation and Manatee Community Foundation, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the William G. and Marie Selby Foundation with support from The Patterson Foundation. (The Patterson Foundation’s role is to provide added value through strategic communications, financial drivability and technology to inspire philanthropy and enhance the impact of generosity.)
All donations must be made on-line with a major credit card at: www.givingpartnerchallenge.org , select Manatee Children’s Services, Inc. and make your donation.
These funds will be used to help cover the costs of our programs and on-going projects. As much as we’ve accomplished together, there is still more work to be done. Your donation is a gift for the future … a gift that helps prevent child abuse…, a gift that will make a difference in the life of a child. Children are one third of our population and all of our future!
We thank you in advance for your continued support.
