Venice Farmers Market Reopens July 11th

We are so happy to let you know that Venice Farmers Market reopens this July 11. According to a Facebook release, “…market staff and vendors have gone to great lengths to create a CDC compliant and safe socially distanced outdoor shopping experience for our community. All staff and vendors will wear masks and gloves and sanitizing stations will be available.

The plan has been reviewed and approved by the City of Venice in order to comply with all federal, state and local guidelines for food and personal safety. “

Summer hours are from 8 AM to Noon. Only service animals will be allowed during current COVID-19 rules.

During the construction of the new fire station and expansion of City Hall, the market will relocate out of the parking lot but will still operate at City Hall. The farmers market will set up on W. Venice Avenue between Harbor Avenue and Avenue des Parques, located between City Hall and the tennis courts.

Enjoy fresh local and organic produce, fresh baked goods, seafood, cheese, artisan food vendors, cooking demos, handmade art, live music and much much more at the Venice Farmers Market every Saturday at 401 W. Venice Avenue at City Hall. Operating hours are from 8 AM to Noon April – September and 8 AM to 1 PM October through March.

Fresh flowers, food, dog treats…exquisite plate flowers for your yard, healing skin care, children’s clothing made from faraway lands, local plants, fresh seafood, yoga clothes, ice cream..you name it! Cheerful atmosphere, many beautiful children and dogs..great way to experience Venice ambience and pick up some joy to take home.

My husband and I really enjoy a good farmers market. This one had a great variety. From art, jewelry, pickles, pizza, coffee, veggies, and so much more. Plus, two ladies playing the steel drums. What a treat!
