Tucked in a spot between Starbucks and the entrance to the condos known as ‘100 Central’ on Central Avenue in Sarasota is a gem of a restaurant known as Tsunami, known far and wide for their wonderful sushi and hibachi.

Tsunami has built an outstanding reputation based on their high level of excellence and superior presentation of fresh seafood. They have won many awards for ‘Best Sushi in Sarasota’ and have participated in many community events and promotions such as ‘Taste of Downtown.’

Owner Samuel Ray pays impeccable attention to the details of running this highly successful restaurant. Samuel has also made many guest appearances on our local Channel ABC-7 hosting cooking segments. His partner Jeffery pays special attention to a high level service for their clientele. This combination has been their mainstay to their success!

Restaurant hours are Monday-Thursday 11am-9:30pm, Friday 11am-10:30pm, Saturday 12-10:30pm, Sunday 12-9pm. NOTE: The restaurant is closed from 2:30pm-4:30pm every day.
