In mid August, The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort hosted a spectacular unveiling event, marking the beginning of its soft opening. This exclusive preview was attended by key Marriott executives, including Anthony Capuano, President and CEO of Marriott International, and local dignitaries such as Liz Alpert, Mayor of Sarasota.

Guests gathered in the resort’s opulent Great Hall to celebrate the launch of this new gem on Florida’s Gulf Coast. The event featured a range of activities including a dramatic kabuki curtain reveal, showcasing stunning views of the resort’s private white sand beach meeting the azure waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The grand unveiling was complemented by an aerialist performance, paying homage to Sarasota’s rich Ringling Circus heritage.
