The New Flying Dog Café, It’s Not The Same Old Dawg!

Last night was the “soft” opening of the new Flying Dog Café.  It was anything but soft!  The new place was packed.  Bruce Famiglio’s old location on Tallevast Road in Sarasota closed in December and opened last night in brand new digs at 419 Cortez Road in Bradenton in the Orange Blossom Plaza.  Over a year in construction, it is a state of the art facility.

The sound system, stage and lighting are top of the line.  There is plenty of room for folks who want to dance and there were many of them out on the dance floor last night.  With seating for over 150 guests, there is plenty of room to accommodate everyone.  Two bars, awesome wall hangings a new kitchen and a new menu area all part of this great new Bradenton venue.

It was a real “love” fest last night.  Most of the gang from the “old dog” were there, but many new faces too.  The “1st Jam” at the “New Dog” was great.  I’m sure there will be many more great times at the new Flying Dog Cafe!

Bruce & Tommy…..congratulations!  It looks like you guys have a winner.
