Tarpon Bay Grill & Tiki Bar in Sarasota Reopening on Monday, May 4th
The great folks at the Tarpon Bay Grill & Tiki Bar in Sarasota, Florida wanted us to share this information with you.
We miss our guests here at Tarpon Bay Grill and Tiki. And we cannot wait to get back to serving you but NOT business as usual. We are having to adapt to some new social distancing serving methods.
New method of serving
Outdoor dining is allowed with the six feet apart rule and we have implemented that order already. And for your dining pleasure, added more tables around the pool area and down the dock. Inside dining will only be allowed the 25% capacity.
For now, we will have throw-away paper menus, individual serving packets and napkins put down on your table as you order. More cleaning methods will be implemented and hand sanitizer will be readily available and offered.
Should you come out?
In the words of Governor DeSantis, “There has been a lot in the media to promote fear, to promote worst case scenarios and to drive hysteria and that worst-case thinking has not proven true.” That being said, if you don’t feel well by all means please stay home. If you feel you have a compromised immune system, please stay home. If you are elderly and not in good health, please stay home and if you have young children and fear for their health, please stay home.
Our management team, employees and I are very committed to making sure that we comply with the new guidelines through everyday practices and daily team meetings and updates for any new developments.
Tarpon Bay Grill & Tiki will OPEN MONDAY MAY 4th at 11 AM with our full menu and bar available to you all – Fist Bumps, elbow bumps, blow each other a kiss and air hugs – we sooooo look forward to seeing you Monday. Business now as UNUSUAL!
