Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) has undergone significant enhancements to better serve its growing number of passengers. In January 2025, the airport unveiled the new Concourse A, a $72 million project that introduces five additional gates, expanded seating areas, and modern amenities. This expansion was funded through a combination of grants, airport funds, and federal support, including contributions from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

Brand New Concourse

An upgrade for your journey! New terminal expansion adds 5 additional gates and 3 new concessionaires.  Concourse A also features new dining options, including local favorites such as Anna Maria Oyster Bar and Patrick’s 1481, offering travelers a taste of the region’s culinary scene.

Convenience & Easy Navigation

SRQ is a small, well-designed airport, making check-in, security and boarding a breeze. No long walks or endless terminals – everything is close and efficient. In addition to the new concourse, SRQ is enhancing its existing facilities. Concourse B is undergoing upgrades to introduce new vendors, including Mattison’s restaurant, a Motorworks Brewing, a renovated Starbucks, a Wahlburgers restaurant, and Salty Key Bar. These improvements aim to provide passengers with a variety of dining choices and a more comfortable pre-flight experience.

Close to Beaches & Attractions

Located just minutes away from the world-famous beaches of Sarasota and Bradenton, such as Siesta Key and Anna Maria Island. SRQ is the perfect gateway to a beach getaway. You can land and be on the sand in no time! Or spend the day shopping at St. Armand Circle or checking out the Ringling Museum.  SRQ’s strategic location offers convenient access to Florida’s Gulf Coast beaches and attractions, making it an ideal gateway for both leisure and business travelers. The airport’s design emphasizes ease of navigation, ensuring a seamless journey from check-in to boarding.
