Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids – A Fun Place to get a Haircut in Lakewood Ranch

Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids – A Fun Place to get a Haircut in Bradenton

Recently my 23-month-old grandson Ryan was going to get a haircut. I was invited to come along to see this new place for kids haircuts! This is not your standard barbershop or salon. Upon walking in, this is a kid’s haven for fun! Toys to play with, Xbox games, cartoons on TV’s at each station! A great idea are the chairs which are the tiny cars that kids love to drive!

They can sit in a police car, a Frozen Jeep or a Lightning McQueen from the movie “Cars”! A creative way to distract small kids having their first haircut experience. The kids receive a certificate for their 1st haircut, a nice touch!

There’s also a “Glamour/Tween Lounge” for birthday parties or a fun day of dressing up. Princess costumes for the girls. A great fun way for teens to have a makeup party, get their hair and nails done. Sharkey’s doesn’t do just kids either, they do adult cuts as well and have a regular salon chair for you to sit in. You can also do a mom and daughter day of pampering. Dad and son can come in for identical haircuts!
