SeaMonkey Apparel is Making Waves Across the Southwest Florida Community!
SeaMonkey Apparel, a coastal lifestyle company based out of Bradenton, Florida owned by husband and wife, is making waves across the Southwest Florida community! James Mains and Alexandra Lowe-Mains launched SeaMonkey Apparel in November of 2022 after spending 5 years building the brand’s business module, aesthetics, and apparel selections.

Since the start of their business, SeaMonkey Apparel has seen sales across 49 states including Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands, has obtained significant organic growth on social media, and has expanded their wholesale presence across the coast. “The one state we have not sold to yet is Alaska, but we feel confident we can make that happen this year!,” states Co-Owner, James Mains.
While SeaMonkey Apparel’s presence spans across the country, the owners strive to support local businesses and organizations. They created a “SeaMonkey Gives Back” program allowing them to partner with different non-profits and donate back a portion of proceeds towards their cause. Previous partners have included Mote Marine, Save Our Sea Birds, Longboat Key Turtle Watch, Friends of Manatee County Animal Welfare, Suncoast Aqua Ventures, and most recently the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife.

SeaMonkey Apparel has also collaborated with local business promoting unique designs including the popular Cortez Pride Collection in collaboration with Swordfish Grill & Tiki Bar and their latest Freckled Fin Collection in collaboration with the Freckled Fin Irish Pub & Music Hall.
Alexandra and James not only utilize sales to give back to the community they love and call home, but they also hosted and held multiple hurricane relief food and donation stations across the Manatee County community shortly after the impacts of Helene and Milton in Fall of 2024. They also participate in regular clean-ups with Keep Manatee Beautiful and Suncoast Aqua Ventures.
“When you wear SeaMonkey Apparel you represent a Tribe of like-minded individuals, all who believe in the power of doing good and who act on it. We want to be known as more than just a brand; we are truly a community of good, genuine people.” Says Co-Owner, Alexandra Lowe-Mains.
