Sarasota Big Pass Discount Program Offers Deals to Area Businesses
Visit Sarasota County launched Sarasota Big Pass on August 1, 2020. Back for the second year, Sarasota Big Pass is a program designed around supporting local businesses during a season that is traditionally slower. Essentially an online discount program, Sarasota Big Pass, will run all of August and September and is available HERE. Currently, there are nearly 45 BOGO (Buy One Get One Free), 25% Off and $5 Off deals listed. The program adapted for this year’s circumstances and any offers are available via curbside or to-go and while social distancing.
Big Pass Specifics
“The array of deal categories allows any business to get involved and we’re excited to see quite a variety of offerings,” said Virginia Haley, Visit Sarasota County president. “There are currently 10 instances of hotel room rate discounts for those who could use a getaway, and deals for area restaurants and attractions. Amongst the deals are even spa deals you could claim for a bit of self-care during these times.”
There is no deadline for businesses to submit deals, so people are encouraged to check the website regularly to discover new deals. To redeem the offers at participating businesses, users should show the deal on their phone or mention “Sarasota Big Pass.” There are some deals that require the use of online codes, which can be found in the individual deal listings. For those who are inclined to share their savings on social media, using the hashtag #SarasotaBigPass will give them a chance to be featured on Visit Sarasota County’s Facebook or Instagram.
