Robert Toale & Sons Honored for Personalized Service
Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home – Weigand Chapel, a proud provider in the Dignity Memorial® network, has been awarded an Honorable Mention in the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association’s (ICCFA) Keeping it Personal (KIP) Awards. The program recognizes the best in personalization in the cemetery, funeral service, and cremation profession. Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home received Honorable Mention in the Most Personalized Service or Memorial Funeral Home Category.

Robert Toale & Sons entered the service of John Buzilow, a U.S. Navy veteran, into the 2020 IFFCA KIP Awards program. Buzilow passed away on Sept. 2, 2020. The staff at Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home created a sunset memorial service on the Siesta Key Beach to honor Buzilow’s life. A Life Story experience, unique to Dignity Memorial locations, was created to greet Buzilow’s family and loved ones. This experience depicted different stages in Buzilow’s life. Each person received their own packaged meal and beverage provided by the caterer’s food truck. As the service ended, family and friends watched the sun set as they remembered Buzilow.
