The Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce, Florida Maritime Museum, merchants of Anna Maria Island and Cortez Fishing Village will begin to offer the new 2021 Anna Maria Island & Cortez Fishing Village Passport program.
It is all about community – bringing people to Anna Maria Island and Cortez, connecting those that are already a part of these areas with each other.
This is an exciting cooperative neighborhood initiative which includes the cities of Anna Maria, Bradenton Beach, Cortez Fishing Village and Holmes Beach, bringing the community together in support of one another.
The official passport program Kick Off will take place in January 2021 and passports will be good for one year. After the official kick off, free passports can be obtained at any participating location.
The 2021 Anna Maria Island / Cortez Fishing Village Passport contains information on the program, maps of the participating cities and all the participating organizations.
The passport holders will visit participating businesses and get their passport stamped. Once the required number of stamps are obtained, passport holders will bring their completed passports to the Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce where they will receive a free Anna Maria Island / Cortez Fishing Village T shirt. They will also be placed in a quarterly raffle to potentially win additional prizes. No purchase necessary, but fun is guaranteed!
This passport program will give residents of these areas an opportunity to step out around different parts of their own neighborhood in addition to introducing visitors to this vibrant community.
What a great community-wide initiative that will drive traffic to the local businesses & nonprofits. Stay, shop & visit local! Collect stamps, earn a T shirt & become an official Anna Maria Island / Cortez Fishing Village Explorer.
