As a long-time customer, visiting Morton’s is a highlight of my day. The staff and atmosphere are fun and delicious!
When COVID-19 hit, I was concerned on how I would handle getting our weekly groceries. We stopped going to restaurants completely and prepared three meals a day, every day.
I found Morton’s curbside service to be the answer! The customer service staff is amazingly kind, efficient, and service oriented…all of my orders were perfect. A perfect solution…and healthy, good food!
From the Customer Service staff to every staff member in every department, the cashiers that take good care of your order, the service and knowledge is such a pleasure. One cannot get that feeling anywhere else
Morton’s is one big happy family and their care for their customers shines through everyday…this environment speaks volumes about its owners!
We Love Morton’s and are blessed to have such a wonderful place in our community! Family owned since 1969. Now four generations!

1979 – Morton’s undergoes its first major renovation which includes the addition of a smokehouse, making their BBQ a Sarasota staple.
1997 – After forty-five years of grocery business and at the age of retirement, Ted decides to sell the market to Epicurean Life, Inc. The name is changed again, this time to ‘Morton’s Gourmet Market’ and goes through another major remodeling. The additions include an expanded kitchen, a bakery & coffee shop, and a fine wine store.
2007 – Eddie Morton and his son, Todd, repurchase the market and continue the family’s tradition of supplying their customers with the best food possible and Morton’s own special brand of personal service.
