Mixon Fruit Farms in Bradenton, Florida- Last Chance to Order Oranges & Grapefruit “On-Line” Before Season is Over

It’s hard to believe that Mixon Fruit Farms has been in business in Bradenton, Florida for 81 years! That is longevity.

Owners Janet and Dean Mixon want to let everyone know that the local orange and grapefruit season is almost over. Orders must be placed by April 5th to receive delivery or pick-up at the store.

 

They wanted to mention “Navel Oranges- Pride of the Farm. Delicious, seedless eating oranges. Fall and winter just melt away as you savor this gift of sunshine. Great for sections, salads or juice. Navels are known worldwide for excellent flavor and juiciness!” The traditional Navel has a golden flesh and may be referred to as White or Golden Navel. Scarlet Navels have a reddish flesh and may also be referred to as Cara Cara Navels.
