Greater Sarasota Chamber Wins National Communications Excellence Award for Small Business Campaign
The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce has earned national recognition as a winner of the 2025 Communications Award of Excellence from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). This prestigious honor highlights the Chamber’s innovative and impactful communications strategy promoting the 2024 Small Business Awards.
Based in Alexandria, Virginia, ACCE represents more than 1,600 chambers and over 9,000 professionals across business and economic development sectors. Its Awards for Communications Excellence (ACE) program celebrates outstanding marketing and communications efforts that showcase a chamber’s commitment to its community.
“Innovative, engaging communications are essential for chambers of commerce to demonstrate their impact and amplify their communities’ stories,” said Sheree Anne Kelly, ACCE President & CEO. “This year’s winners have creatively celebrated their communities, strengthened local identity and showcased their commitment to inspiring progress and building vibrant, thriving regions.”
The Greater Sarasota Chamber’s winning submission stood out for its multi-channel campaign that elevated the Small Business Awards through compelling storytelling, targeted outreach, and record-breaking engagement across digital and traditional platforms.
“We’re proud of how our team’s creativity and leadership continue to raise the Chamber and the Sarasota community to new heights,” said Ed Hill, Vice President of the Sarasota Chamber.
The Chamber is now in the running for Best in Show honors in its revenue category, with final winners to be announced during the ACCE annual convention in Philadelphia on July 23, presented by Comcast Business.
A panel of marketing experts from 12 chambers across the U.S. judged this year’s entries across categories like digital media, print and electronic publications, websites, and full campaigns—organized by chamber size.
