The company began when Tori was a stay-at-home mother, approximately six months after giving birth. She told her significant other, Ryan, that she wanted to purchase a Cricut machine and believed she could use it to earn money while working from home.
Ryan asked her to prepare a business plan. She completed one that same evening, outlining what she would need and how much it would cost to begin.
Her earliest projects were created at the family’s dining room table. Within months, demand had grown enough for her to finance her first direct-to-garment printer. The business soon outgrew the front room of the house and expanded into additional workspace.
Five years later, Tori described the company’s progress with a fitting anniversary summary: “5 years, 4 machines, 3 heat presses, 2 shops, 1 dream.”
