Enough already! If I see one more photo of dead fish or hear another complaint about the odor I am going to scream! Enough is enough!

We live in the greatest place! It’s sad that we can’t go to our beautiful beaches right now. It’s sad that we can’t always go outside. Enough! There is so much to do here.

We have some of the most wonderful restaurants in the world on the Gulf Coast and they have “indoor seating” and some of them have water-views. Go out to eat and you’ll be supporting the restaurant, their servers and staff.

We have the newest and coolest mall at UTC…go shopping! Sarasota Main Street and beyond has awesome locally owned merchants…. support them. Go to Venice and spend money. Hang out in Bradenton and Anna Maria Island. Buy some jewelry, buy some art work…. buy something! Go bowling, get a haircut, go to the movies, go listen to “Live Music”.

This weekend, I am asking everyone to go out and spend $25.00 locally. If you share this idea it will snowball, and it will be a big help to our local economy. Laura and I started if off enjoying a Philly Steak Sandwich at “Slim’s Place” on Anna Maria Island.
