We are fortunate to have a host of wonderful farmers markets in our communities up and down the Suncoast. This shopping option is great to find fresh, locally-sourced produce, bakery items, and other goods each week. By making purchases at these local farmers markets, you get the freshest seasonal ingredients while supporting local agriculture and small business owners. Best of all, you get produce that is harvested at peak ripeness, ensuring optimal flavor and nutritional value.

Bradenton Public Market – 400 Old Main St Bradenton, FL 34205. Open weekly, October – June, and the last summer market is August 26 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Englewood Farmers Market – 335 West Dearborn St. Englewood, FL 34223. Open Thursdays, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Fort Myers Downtown Farmers’ Market – 2000 W 1st St Fort Myers, FL 33901. Open Thursdays 7 .m. – 1:30 p.m.

Punta Gorda Farmer’s Market – 227 Taylor St Punta Gorda, FL 33950. Open Saturdays 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

As the weather hopefully gives us a break in the coming weeks, get out to one or more of the farmers markets listed above.
