Mother’s Day is next weekend, Sunday, May 8, 2022. If you haven’t figured out something you might like to do to celebrate the mom in your life, we have helped by compiling a list of creative ways to show someone appreciation this Mother’s Day. As love, cherishing moments, and memories are the most important parts of our relationship with our moms, mom figures, and other amazing female caretakers, these are simple ideas that won’t cost you anything – and are great for all ages to participate in.

Picnic for Everyone

Fresh air and blue skies elevate even the simplest of sandwiches. Make your picnic extra special by whipping up Mom’s favorite treats and taking her to a quiet spot with a fantastic view. Tuck a few mother-son and mother-daughter quotes into the basket so she can read them over lunch.

Cupcakes Decorate with Little Hands

These cute cupcakes will be a lovely surprise for mom. Kids can help by stirring up the simple sponge mixture and decorating it with a swirl of buttercream.
