It has been over four months since the Sarasota Farmers Market closed due to the COVID19 epidemic. It is an institution in downtown Sarasota and was greatly missed.
The management team from the market is pleased to announce that the market will reopen on Saturday, August 1. The market will be open from 7 am – 1 pm. The market is open rain or shine! All vendor booths will have hand sanitizer available, and there will be hand sanitizer stations all through the market.
The market will be following strict guidelines which they ask the public to adhere to. Also, masks are required to be worn by law in the City of Sarasota.

*Designate one shopper per household
*Pre-order and prepay vendors online whenever possible
*Leave pets at home unless it is a service animal
*Maintain 6 feet of distance between you and other folks in the area
*Don’t touch the merchandise. Look with your eyes
*Make a shopping list before you come to the market
*Stay at home if you are sick or had contact with a sick person
*Shop quickly and get everything to go
*Avoid gatherings at the market
