Florida State Troopers Looking for Impaired Drivers This Weekend

It’s never a good idea to drink and drive and this weekend you will be better off taking an Uber, taxi, rideshare or have a designated driver.

The Florida Highway Patrol has announced that the will be tracking down impaired drivers and taking them off the road.  The FHP operation will run from 9pm- 5am this Friday and Saturday 4/14 and 4/15.

You are considered driving while impaired if your blood alcohol level is 0.08% or higher.  If you are under 21 years of age and have an alcohol level of 0.02% or higher you are considered impaired.

If you notice someone driving erratically call the Florida State Police from your cellphone at (*347).
