Dine Out For Orlando United

On Thursday June 30, The Seafood Shack in Cortez will be one of hundreds of restaurants throughout the state of Florida participating in “Dine Out for Orlando United.” Led by the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association in partnership with VISIT FLORIDA, the fundraiser lets restaurants, their employees and guests donate their time and a portion of proceeds to make a difference in the lives of those affected recently in Orlando.

All proceeds raised will be donated to the OneOrlando Fund, which is designed to provide a way to respond to the needs of the local community, now and in the time to come, after the effects of the Pulse tragedy.

This Thursday, The Seafood Shack has pledged to donate 10% of all of the proceeds for the day to the OneOrlando Fund. This includes proceeds from food & beverage sales from The Karen & Jimmy Band Show in The Neptune Room that same evening. Additionally, Seafood Shack staff will be asking for a $5 (or more) direct donation at the door – in lieu of a cover charge – which will go straight to the Fund.
