Amazing Labor Day Weekend Activities here on the Suncoast

Labor Day is right around the corner; for many, that means a long holiday weekend. Many will take the time to get out on the waters here on the Suncoast, gatherings with family and friends, or other relaxation options. To help prepare for an amazing time celebrating and taking time away from work and school, we compiled a list of amazing happenings here on the Suncoast.

13th Annual Downtown Venice Labor Day Weekend Craft Festival – The tremendous support of the Venice community is one reason why this craft festival is so successful! Located on Miami Avenue in Downtown Venice.

74th Annual Labor Day Regatta – The Labor Day Regatta is the longest-running annual regatta in the southeast since 1946. The signature event for the SSS, the regatta draws hundreds of competitive sailors from across the U.S. and Canada.

A Taste of Venice, FL – Thursday, September 1, 2022, 5:30 – 8 p.m. Many of your Favorite Local Eateries Serving Up Awesome Tastes! Attendees must be at least 21 years of age.

Resort Pass – gives you access to local hotels and resorts for a day to enjoy all that they have to offer without booking an overnight stay. It’s the perfect way to plan a daycation that’s not too far from home.

Silver Moon – is a drive-through, romantic, and budget-friendly way to see a movie here on the Suncoast. If Silver Moon is too far, there is also Funlan, Ruskin Family Drive-In to consider.

Shephard’s Tiki Beach Bar – has music, bikini contests, and the best place to be on a Sunday day of drinking

Wet & Wild Kidz Fest 2022 – over 15 acres of bounce houses, waterslides, dunk tanks, vendors, food trucks and so much more. The Charlotte County Fair, 2333 El Jobean Road, Port Charlotte, FL 33948

Wing Eating Competition – come and cheer on the Treasure Island police, fire, and public works department in a wing eating competition on Monday, September 5
