19th Annual Sarasota Film Festival March 31 – April 9, 2017

The Sarasota Film Festival is pleased to announce that this year’s event will be held from March 31 – April 9, 2017.  This is one of the biggest festivals of the year in Sarasota.

The festival promises to be the best ever for SFF with many great events planned and some big-name stars attending.  Held annually in Sarasota, FL., The Sarasota Film Festival emphasizes the best in cinema alongside exciting programs and events, with more than 200 films screened each year including features, documentaries, shorts, and kid-friendly picks.

Entering the 19th year, SFF brings the best new and veteran independent filmmakers to our festival with local and kid-friendly programs that showcase our idyllic Gulf Coast community.

The Mission of SFF: To celebrate the art of filmmaking and the contribution of filmmakers by hosting an international film festival and developing year-long programs for the economic, educational and cultural benefit of our community.
