Riverwalk Fine Art

What will you discover at the Bradenton Riverwalk Fine Art Festival?

| Suncoast Post Staff |

March is a beautiful time to come enjoy browsing and purchasing fine arts and crafts from a fascinating and diverse palette of original, handmade arts, crafts, and specialty products by artisans from across America at the  Bradenton Riverwalk Fine Art Festival. Bring your sense of discovery and appreciation of the beauty as you explore all the amazing finds at the gallery of offerings. Whether looking for your home, a gift, or something for the office, there will surely be something for everyone on the Riverwalk this weekend.

Explore art created in painting, sculpting, jewelry, photography, glass, ceramics, fiber and wearable art, mixed media, woodworking, and much more. Amazing artisans such as Rosa Chavez (acrylic), Meena Creations (jewelry), Marcus McKenna Studio (painting), and so many other wonderfully talented individuals will come together to form this outdoor gallery. Meet the artisans creating the works, and if you don’t find exactly what you want – commission a piece from the artist that will be made just for you! The festival will run March 18 – 19, 2023, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. with free admission located at the Bradenton Riverwalk, 3rd Avenue West, Bradenton.

Parking is being offered at The City Centre Parking Facility at 3rd Avenue West between 10th and 12th Streets. The building is more than just a place to park cars — it houses the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, five additional retail spots, and is in itself a spectacular piece of public art. The 500-space garage has an eye-catching colorful motif all around and has a Bradenton-specific mosaic on the north side. The six-foot high, 15-panel, 120-foot long mosaic, called “The Magic River,” was created by Pittsburgh artist James Simon, who came to our area and learned what it is that most defines us as Bradenton residents. The resulting mosaic contains panels that reflect the Manatee River, the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Bradenton Farmer’s Market, and many other aspects of our lives here.

We look forward to seeing everyone out for an inspirational and colorful weekend at the Bradenton Fine Art Festival. From parking, shopping, and the amazing outdoor setting, this is a memorable art festival that you won’t want to miss. The Suncoast offers such a diverse offering from so many artists, and this is sure to be an amazing sampling of all the beauty we love right here in our community.
